Deepa Krishna
Chief Operating Officer
Deepa Krishna is an operations and strategy professional with more than two decades of experience across the private, political, and non-profit sectors, who provides Fractional COO and Strategy services to clients in varying industries.
In her last role, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Zinc Collective, a political organization with programs focused on the recruitment and retention of technology talent, and leadership development for managers of Democratic campaigns. At Zinc, Deepa developed the operating model, and built out the shared business services structure and team that supported Compliance & Legal, Fundraising, HR, Finance & Accounting, IT and DEI for the organization across its work. Before this shift to political work, Deepa worked in media and entertainment as Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff to the Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer at WWE where she was charged with co-managing a 120+ member team responsible for generating $700M in revenue annually. She also led initiatives that addressed emerging content consumption habits and proposed new business and partnership models for television and film programming to grow WWE’s audience. Prior to that she led operations, marketing and business development for WWE’s film division. She started her career managing projects in business affairs and film & television operations at Miramax and the Weinstein Company.
Deepa serves as a Commissioner for the City of West Hollywood on the Public Facilities, Recreation, and Infrastructure Commission, which is responsible for tending to the public spaces and their uses and usage by the city’s community of 34K.
Deepa holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Information Systems from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film & Television Production from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
