Communications Regarding Borrower Defense and Gainful Employment NPRMs

On October 1, 2018, NSLDN submitted two FOIA requests seeking all communications between the U.S. Department of Education and non-governmental third parties about the 2018 Borrower Defense and Gainful Employment negotiated rulemakings.  As a component of this correspondence, NSLDN’s requests included any invitations to meet with outside parties to discuss the proposed rules, as well as confirmation of any meetings that occurred.
