Remarks by Acting Undersecretary Diane Auer Jones

On September 26, 2018 NSLDN submitted a FOIA request seeking the prepared remarks of Diane Auer Jones, who is delegated to perform the duties of Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education, at the Education Writers Association 2018 Higher Education Seminar at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Diane Auer Jones was slated to speak as part of a discussion entitled “Rethinking Federal Regulation of Education,” which was described as an opportunity to “[h]ear about the drive to reduce regulations and provide education consumers with more information from the top federal higher education policymaker ..."
